I have known Vic for about 16 years. He was always a very kind, helpful chap around the office and was always happy for a chat. Vic was a mind of technical knowledge and detail and was always willing to help out with any issues I was having. I always remember his refrigerator cake that he made and brought into the office for his birthday, it was an extremely high sugar hit !! I walk past your empty desk when I go into the office now, and I can't believe that you won't be sitting there again. I'm so sad that you couldn't reach out and get help for anything that was troubling you. You will be sorely missed Vic xx
It was a great pleasure and privilege to work with Victor for over a decade. I think we both derived some satisfaction from collaborating in adapting the tools he developed to keep pace with challenges presented by users and customers. We mostly worked together remotely but it was good to meet up occasionally when he visited Frimley. Usually, this visit coincided with him changing his 'witty' Skype status message! I cannot believe the quotes have stopped and collaboration ceased and, like many others, I will miss him.
Vic - I will always remember chatting in the kitchen, whether it was about cricket, engineering or the frailties our of our IT system (you were always so calm about that one), and you were always so willing to be helpful!
I will miss your sense of cynicism whenever we discussed the IT in our organisation and how to get it working. I always enjoyed the meetings you ran, and me having to wing the answers to your queries about why i had made so little progress! Tools meetings will never be the same without you.
Victor - I will always remember our chats over the years about how to get tools running and imagining how life might be with IT that just works… I enjoyed your witty sense of humour and was very grateful for your ability to immediately spot my errors. I will miss you always telling me off for trying to use logic to explain our organisation! Thanks for being a good friend and sounding board for my ideas, and for all the useful gardening tips. I hope that wherever you are now you are at peace. Goodbye Victor, I won’t forget you. Anna -x-
Victor - always in the office when I arrived in the morning, always cheery and happy to help out. I worked with you for 5 years on the Australia project, weekly early morning calls, but you were up anyway! Always calm. A font of knowledge from which we benefitted greatly. We miss you. Andy
Vic - I will always remember our chats in the office from Skegness to Marvel films; trying to find where you had hidden Edna the toy elephant each morning, and the house you made for her complete with tissue paper smoke from the chimney! Your fridge cake on your birthday was legendary, and between Andy, you and myself the sweet bowl was always there to share. You are greatly missed. Simone (and Edna)
Victor - I will always remember our long chats about cricket whenever England or the West Indies were playing, about films and movies we liked, the tips you gave me for growing herbs in my garden, and of course the many video games we shared a love of. I will miss the way you always turned up for meetings early, joking that "everything wrong was Phil's fault" as soon as I arrived, always making me smile and laugh. I will miss you. Godspeed my friend. Phil.

Victor, I will miss our conversations about gardening, sci-fi, and the weather in Filton. When I joined the company in Nov 2015 You were such a brilliant help to me by instructing me in the systems, processes and especially how to get the IT to work. I will remember these times with much fondness, thank you. Linton
