I have so many memories that it is hard to think of where to start.
One of the earliest memories is of the most adorable wee brown eyed boy arriving at mum and dad’s house (Kay & Raymond) with his little pretend black cat Jess. Tom ‘lost’ Jess so many times that it found a new spot on the fireplace where it had to stay all day. I remember collecting Tom from Gleno Pre-school and he came out bouncing with his big smile and looking for a hug! I can recall in later years taking him to a NI match at Windsor Park one night and that infectious smile never left his face.
We had so much fun over the years and it has been an absolute privilege to spend time with Emily, Tom, Sarah and Patrick. Tom grew up to be such a kind and loyal young man - he would stop for a chat wherever we saw him and always had time for anyone. These memories I will treasure forever.
Our thoughts are with Robert, Hilary, Emily, Sarah and Patrick in the coming days, weeks and months ahead and to Rebecca and all Tom’s extended family.
