Tim's was the first voice I heard at the IoIC and I was struck by his kindness and helpfulness on that occasion along with every other time I spoke with him. I didn't know Tim personally but actually voiced the words 'oh no' out loud when I read the email which delivered the very sad news. That says something about a person, don't you think, along with the fact that I'm now welling up. Maybe it says that kindness is in short supply these days so when you meet up with it, you never forget it. I bet he was the most lovely colleague and will be missed at work as well as desperately by his family. My heart goes out to you all but try to remember how lucky you were to have such a lovely and special person in your life, even if he had to leave too soon. My deepest sympathies. X
