My dearly beloved cousin ‘brother ‘ Tommy. Growing up with you was always fun, different and extraordinary. You were the one to introduce us to artist Prince who we knew nothing about until you convinced us to go to his concert.
Well what can I say. It was electrifying, magical and we were converted to being fans to this very day. Only you could paint your walls in your flat in orange and think it was stunning. Only you could wear a bandana around your wrist or around your forehead and carry it off with so much style, and only you could name your cat Shockadelica.
You was a wonderful husband to Nina and stepfather to Estella and then your beautiful child Rafael arrived making you the proudest father in the world. The short time you had with Rafael, you was the most committed, best father any child could ever have.
I’m sure you will be looking from above loving and protecting him and one day Rafael will know how wonderful his father was who was sadly taken away far too soon.
Tommy was one of the most selfless people I have ever met and even when he was poorly he always found the inner strength to always ask how everybody was. He was truly amazing.
I miss you dearly Tom, I miss your cheeky smile, your sense of humour and our chats every now and then and how we always saw the funny side of things.
