Terry Fisher

May 19, 1965 - October 18, 2024

Terry was a valued member of the NQA team for almost 9 years. He was a highly qualified and experienced Assessor and was an excellent H&S Principal Assessor for NQA. He provided invaluable advice to clients, industry and colleagues and was loved by many. His loss will be felt across our industry. We will all have our own memories of Terry, whether that be his sense of humour, his Doncaster accent, his dance moves or his incredible generosity in providing guidance, support and a listening ear. We will all agree that he was a down to earth gentleman with an incredibly kind and generous nature. Truly one of the best!

I was first introduced to Terry in 2021 during my initial ISO audit with a new company. Such a gentleman, helpful and supportive throughout and continued to be the same in the years to follow. His sense of humor certainly helped with what, can be, a very dull subject. Our condolences to Terry's family, friends and colleagues. RIP Terry

Worked with Terry for close to 2 years at NQA. He was such a stand out character who was well respected throughout the organisation and highly regarded by leadership. He was always on hand to help with industry knowledge, and could speak at length about anything H&S. He put his own spin on Health and Safety, bringing fun and smiles to quite a mundane topic! I remember pulling Terry in to my first high profile client call with a large UK organisation which I was really nervous about, but Terry was brilliant, won the client over and I'm confident the deal wouldn't have been signed without his input. So sorry for the loss of a truly great bloke. RIP Terry

Terry was my best friend at work. We were so close, supported each other, laughed together, commiserated together, moaned about all sorts (including NQA!) and helped each other out. He was the most supportive and considerate man I have met. We talked every day. Often he sat in his hotel room and me in mine. Often it was just to check in and see how each other was. Have you ahd a good day - what have you been up to and what you having for tea. A typical Terry 'face'. Hope you don't mind me sharing Katie. I'm gonna really miss you mate! Your friend and colleague - Richard

Terry was one of my all-time favourite people at NQA and he will be missed so dearly. He was never without a smile or silly joke and I have some fond memories of our time together. One of my favourites is how graciously he handled me scaring the daylights out of him whilst trying to drive an automatic car at a marketing event. I've never seen someone laugh so nervously. All my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, who he talked so lovingly about! Natalie

It was a pleasure to call you a friend and a colleague. Your help and expertise has opened my eyes to the H&S sector. Always available for us and a legend to the NQA family.
