It's mid April now. We have been having spring like weather. It is also Easter this past Sunday. Saturday was in the low 80's and mid 70's on Easter Sunday.
Amy invited me and Tracey for Easter dinner. I volunteered to bring a ham. It was a good dinner and I stayed there for about 3 hours. I felt real lonely wen I got back from their house.
I have been quilting. I just finished my second one. It is a birthday gift for Isabella's first birthday. It's really cute. I have some material to do another one for Arianna. It has an elephant theme to it. I didn't think I would like the quilting but I started really enjoying it when I decided to make one for Isabella. Now that I made one for Isabella, Savanna wants one too. I have 3 different themes for her to pick from.
Mike, Joan's husband had a massive heart attack a week ago or so. He had lost oxygen for 25 minutes but he is still alive. He is responding to Joan when she visits him at the heart unit and smiles, make eye contact. Will not know for sure about his prognosis till the doctors do more tests on him. If he is physically disabled she said she is ready for the challenge in taking care of him. I haven't anymore info on how he doing today. I will be calling Joan to see what's what with Mike. We were very concerned as to his outcome and still are. A lot of people prayed for him and he had a miracle on Easter Sunday when he became responsive on his own as opposed to what he was having with automatically responses.
I had to get a new furnace. the Lennox one finally died after 34 years. I got Bob, the repairman. It is working great. It cost a lot but I had to get a new one for winter weather especially when the kids come over for their weekend visits. Seems like one thing after another is breaking down. A few days ago, our coffer pot died. It's a good thing I had a spare one. Can't go without my coffee .Now, there is dripping pipe to repair. What next?
Going to my quilting class in awhile. Gotta go and get cleaned up.
I love you dearly poopsey. Geri
