I never worked on a project with Taylor (and would have loved to), but every time our paths crossed, we found time for a short chat about life and work. Taylor was really smart, but I was always struck by the way he worked. He role modeled how to trust, listen to and respect those around you. He was a hugely effective communicator, but someone who was facilitative, brought people into the conversation and somehow got what international development is about. Taylor was inspiration to me and many others. Sam, their children and friends are in my thoughts at this sad time.
