We have so many great memories of Steve from the Choueifat days as I know many people have. However I'd like to share memories from our Silver wedding anniversary when Phil and i celebrated by making our first return trip to the Emirates in over twenty years. Steve came to our hotel to pick us up and as we walked into the foyer there he was with his big smile and the years just melted away. That was it - Steve and Eileen simply slotted us back into the Sharjah social scene, making us so welcome and showing us so much hospitality. We felt like we'd never left. Together we went on a trip down memory lane visiting Choueifat and the Wanderers club and.had picnics on the beach and boat trips like the 'old days' . Steve was our willing chauffeur and guide , showing us all the places we remembered and introducing us to all the changes since we left . We are so grateful to Steve ( and Eileen of course!) for making our anniversary trip so memorable. it wouldn't have been anywhere near as much fun if we hadn't spent it with you.
Steve was such a lovely fella. He'll be greatly missed by all - We are thinking of you Eileen Ceirah and Kellen and sending you our thoughts and love.
