All the ‘girls’ of the fundraising branch were so shocked to hear of Stan’s untimely death. We’ve known him from the start and he was always so helpful to us. We particularly remember the brilliant flood rescue exercise he organised involving all the rescue services. I met his niece Kelsa very recently and she was so proud that I knew her Uncle Stanley. Our thoughts are very much with his family- and with the crew who have lost a pillar of the RNLI family.
