When I was very little, my grandfather and I used to take walks to warren park. I’m sure I wanted to go every day for me to remember this much, but I remember our walks. And every single time, my grandpa wanted to go to 7/11 to grab some mentos. He always spent time with my and my cousins, and I appreciate him so much for doing so.
I remember his go-to meal was milo, bread, and stew. I remember when he used to sing songs and we’d dance. I even remember my most recent memory of him dancing when I visited him two years ago. He was the most joyous and peaceful person. My grandpa baba was simply the best.
