Eldryd had such time and curiosity for everyone and everything, he was a true wonder. He could switch between profundity and levity within seconds. He’d remember the smallest details of my life that I’d forgotten I’d mentioned, and I will always treasure the conversations we had in his office, in his Wales farmhouse and in the RSM canteen (mostly on the rules of ultimate frisbee but we dipped into global health occasionally).
