Eldryd had such time and curiosity for everyone and everything, he was a true wonder. He could switch between profundity and levity within seconds. He’d remember the smallest details of my life that I’d forgotten I’d mentioned, and I will always treasure the conversations we had in his office, in his Wales farmhouse and in the RSM canteen (mostly on the rules of ultimate frisbee but we dipped into global health occasionally). How one man can touch so many lives is beyond me. He is the moral core of THET; we are blessed to have known him and are made strong through his legacy.
