Dear Adel, Alia and Rukhsana, today will probably be one of the most difficult days you will experience. It is very hard to say goodbye to one’s beloved Father. However, as you will have heard many times today, this is Allah’s will and we must accept it. You must take comfort in the knowledge that Chacha Shaukat was truly a special person: loving, generous, fun, outgoing and always ready to help anyone. He had a really big heart and he loved you all dearly. You were blessed to have him as a Father. He was blessed to have you as his children. I have witnessed the exemplary love, dedication and care that you all showed him throughout his most difficult times. I know you did it out of love but Allah will reward you Insha’Allah for that. Take comfort in prayer and in eachother. Stay true to his wishes and ideals and remain close and united. Keep on the good work he did. Have faith in Allah. May Allah bless Chacha’s soul, grant him mercy and admit him to the best place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus.
