Scott Wharton

July 18, 1971 - April 21, 2020

He was someone who always had a bounce in his step and a smile on his face. He put people first and gave so much time to help others. So many from his team would only speak positively of him, and will dearly miss him. For us all Scott, it was an absolute pleasure to have known you. Scott you will forever be known as the 'superb' man from Yorkshire.

I'll never forget Black Friday 2018 when unions were protesting outside LTN1 and we invited media in off the cuff. We hadn't warned Scott that he may need to do an interview but he immediately took up the challenge, rose from his chair and walked straight onto the floor to deliver a word perfect interview for Al Jazeera TV. Unflappable and the ultimate professional, and sorely missed. James
