Scott Vines

October 17, 1967 - August 23, 2020

It is with great sadness that I share that Scott Vines peacefully passed away this morning at 1am. The past four years he so bravely and courageously fought his cancer battle with both dignity and strength. I am so privileged to have shared 18.5 years with this wonderful man who meant so much to so many. He was the most beautiful and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to so many. Words can not describe the pain and sorrow in our hearts but we take solace that he is at peace now with the Lord. Scott Vines thank you for loving me, thank you for loving our two beautiful children and thank you for the many happy and cherished memories.

    Christine Spalding

I had the privilege of working with Scott for over 15 years as a close team member in corporate services at City West Water. During that time Scott was a wonderful supportive colleague who patiently taught me much of the culture and work practices at CWW. He had so much patience with me as a new start. We talked often about our respective families, in particular our children. It was easy to see how much he adored Jo and his two children. He was a very hard worker who looked forward to switching off the computer at the end of the day and go home to his family. He was a beautiful soul, and I know the CWW family will miss him greatly. My heart felt sympathy goes out to Jo and his family who have lost a beautiful person. Love and peace to you all from Christine Spalding xoxoxoxo

Scotty, you were such blessing to everyone you met, your quiet, humble and dignified spirit touched us all. It was a privilege to know you and see your life unfold over the years, falling in love with your beloved Jo and blessing your home with your beautiful children. Jo thank you for sharing your beautiful love story - your strength and courage and is deeply appreciated. Sending you, Lauchlan and Olivia my prayers, knowing that God will sustain you and keep you all in His loving grace. To Scott's family, I am deeply sorry for the loss of your son, brother and uncle. He was a beautiful soul who will be sorely missed.
