Dearest Satnam Mamaji,
It brings me with such sadness you are no longer here with us.
Throughout my life along with other Gosal greats and Jouhal family you have been our 'Pillar' our senior figure.
You have been our council in times of happiness and grief. We have turned to you when we needed advice and guidance.
You were a man of such stature, who had a hard exterior but deep down some of us got to see the happy cheeky chappy side of you. You would always tease me about something or other, making me laugh and even gave me a nickname, 'Rumpel'.
My fondest childhood memories are with the Gosal family in 68 Redston.
The family get-to -togethers on a Saturday night, the famous front room. These were the days, the days of true happiness, nothing pretentious but just pure family fun.
The days of 68 redston where Me, Ricky and Sharnie were always playing in your beloved garden in the rockery. I was always so scared that I would harm one of your plants, as your house was truly your castle.
I used to come to your house for breakfast everyday at 8am, you would read your paper and have breakfast with the girls on the dining table all together before leaving for work.
Even to this day I think about this.
Your work ethic was unbelievable the achievements you have made is one you truly deserved.
The respect you have gained through your hard work and efforts is something to be admired. Meeting random people in the area who spoke so highly of you, would make me so proud.
Your commitment with the Gudwara and Sikhi was something I was so happy you did as it gave you another dimension of focus in life.
I used enjoy seeing you on the early morning Asa Di War Gudwara prayers on a Sunday morning. Your advice, kind words and encouragement is something I will always keep with me.
Mamaji, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all the hard work and sacrifices you and alot of the other family members had made for us.
We are all incredibly thankful and proud.
I shall miss you alot, however knowing you are no longer suffering and now able to rest feels us with some slight comfort. You all suffered alot.
I couldn't see you in your suffering state, I saw your through my prayers.
I hope we all make you proud.
As a family we shall all remain close and ensure all your loved ones are supported during this difficult period and beyond.
I will remember you daily, during my simran paath 'satnaam waheguru' you will always come into my mind and thoughts one way or another.
In the last week England lost Her Majesty the Queen, Our family lost our pillor, our strength and leader. Our King!

Much love mamaji
Forever thankful
