It is with great sadness that we announce Robert William Graham passed away Friday July 14, 2023, peacefully in his sleep. Robert was born February 19, 1946. An unwavering love of the outdoors was the centre of his lifetime, as well as the connection for many of his relationships. Bob grew up in a large loving extended family with farming at the centre of their rich community life. Throughout his life, Dad spent much of his days outdoors; on family farms, working in the dairy barns at the Experimental Farm in Ottawa, or working on NCC park and trail maintenance. His love of fresh air, clear blue skies, and a good slice of pie was his greatest gift to his family. He is survived by sisters Eleanor Fraser (Clarke), and Elizabeth Birmingham (Harry), and his brother Terry (Kathryn), his daughters Katherine, Susan, and Marjorie, his grandchildren and nephews and niece. He is predeceased by his parents Lyndon, and Hazel (Black), and brother George. Special thanks to the staff at Cityview Retirement Centre for the care and community in his final years, as well as the staff at 6 West General Hospital for extraordinary care and compassion during his final months.
