I first met Terry when I was working as DOM in the East of England. Some great conversations over many different catch ups resulted.
Our first meeting was at Sheringham Lifeboat Station when Selina Taylor brought her fundraising team to the station to meet with Chris Nisbet and myself.
I walked in to the station to be confronted by Terry with his cheek against the hull of the Atlantic stroking the sponson. " This is such a privilege to be able to touch what we fundraise for" he said...." I have wanted to do this for ages..."
It showed me just how much this organisation meant to him, its something I will never forget !!
Nor will I ever forget Terry. Rest easy my friend....your watch is done.
