Richie was an absolute light. Within seconds of seeing him or talking to him, you would undoubtedly be laughing or smiling. His laugh, his energy, his sincerity and thoughtfulness were all so incredibly contagious. Something I always admired Richie for was not just his incredible breadth of passions – I mean the man could cook, loved a great cigar, had an eye for fashion, was a fitness guru, traveled the world – but the fact that he threw himself into each one fully. Richie certainly never did anything halfway, including being a dear friend to everyone he met. He will be missed deeply, but his memory will carry on in each of us.
