Richie’s infectious personality touched everyone he encountered. He put people at ease, never met a stranger, and was always finding common ground with people from all walks of life. Richie was gregarious, fun, bright, determined, passionate, loyal, and kind. He adored his mother and spoke fondly of his family. We shared a deep love for food and could laugh for hours recounting wild travels. His obsession with sailing was both funny (which I teased him openly about) and admirable. He was a special person who could really do whatever he set his mind to. I’m grateful for the time we worked together, and the time we spent hanging in Atlanta, San Francisco, and LA. We will all miss Richie dearly.
