Like many others, I conversed with Rev. Gittens frequently. I actually called his cell phone the Saturday night close to 10pm. not knowing that he had passed. I expected him to return my call as usual. However, I was shocked on Sunday morning on receiving the sad news via email from Dr. Nigel Taylor. He preached frequently in many of our churches, loved the Lord with all of his heart, and was a great brother and friend. He will be greatly missed. On behalf of my family and the Wesleyan Holiness Church community in the Caribbean, we extend sincere condolences to the bereaved family and friends. May he rest in peace!
