I cannot believe the news I got today. My long term friend and fellow music fan Tony has gone. There is a void in my heart today - slowly it is filing with memories - heading to Elephant Fayre to see The Cure with hardly any money, walking into The Higsons dressing room to talk contract riders on a gig, speeding up the M3 on a Saturday night to dance to Jay Strongman at The Warehouse or Wendy May at the T&C, talking guitars and punk and funk.
We both worked for Our Price Records at one time and had a mad flat share in South London.
So much over such a long time.....my heart is breaking here for Magda & Rose who I never got to meet.
He loved you both so much - he was the best of friends and I'm not gonna lie I'm gonna miss him.
I love you Tony D - always will - the Earth feels a darker place today
