February 14, 1981 - October 29, 2018

Rahul was our friend and classmate at INSEAD GEMBA 18. He was married to Menka and had 2 children, Vivaan and Vanya. He lived in Qatar where he was working as the Recruitment Manager for Milaha. In addition to relishing family time with his wife, son and daughter, he enjoyed Rock music (Metallica, Eagles, Bon Jovi), Bollywood music, strength training, and playing cricket and badminton. He was funny, gentle, sensitive and generous. He will be missed very very much.

I met Rahul during the electives week in Fonty. We were staying in the same building at Insead Residences. Our first interaction was in the laundry room when I was trying to figure out how to use the machines. We instantly connected and would talk almost every day during our stay there. Meeting over coffees and dinners. He was so full of life and had a very positive and passionate outlook. He had a lot of plans and dreams post Insead; both for himself and his family. He always talked about his family and children. I didn't get a chance to meet him again after those 2 weeks together. Its a devastating and a surreal feeling that i wont meet him again in this world. Rahul; I hope you are happy and in peace wherever you are now. I pray that your family does well in life and your children fulfill your unrealized dreams. I hope you look at them some day and feel happy at their achievements. My prayers will always be with your family. My support will always be for them. I will miss you my friend.. Till we meet again
