As Chair of the Babraham Institute Board I worked closely with Chris last year during the discussions of the relationship between the Institute and the University.
I greatly appreciated his honesty and thoughtfulness, and his ability to find constructive approaches to the difficult issues.
He was a terrific scientist who made significant contributions, through his involvement with Astex, to the development of new cancer drugs.
Deepest sympathy to his family from all at Babraham.
