I am so sorry to hear this news. I met Chris as part of the Russell Group PVCR working group of which he was a highly respected member. His comments and suggestions in formal business meetings were always perceptive, relevant and helpful, sometimes witty, but always kind. He was also great company during the less formal aspects of our meetings. He was a greatly valued colleague who will be very much missed.
