I am so very pleased to have known Aldwyn. I enjoyed his company very much and he was always welcoming and helpful at the meetings of the Senior Fellows of the University. I often had dinner with Aldwyn together with his lovely wife Roz and my late husband Richard Lindley. We always came away delighted to have been in their company. Since Aldwyn left the University i was so glad he kept regularly in touch, which was very appreciated. He will be missed by his family and many, many others. He will most certainly be missed by me. I have known Aldwyn for decades and always enjoyed his company. He was a great raconteur, one of the best. And he always worked for the betterment of Regent's and Webster University's students. I recall several dinners with him both at the University both with me when I would be back in London or with my father, the Chancellor of Webster University, Dr. Neil George, Sr. He would be a great companion and every time with him was memorable. I shall miss him on my next visit to London and wish his family and friends all my best in both remembering him and celebrating his life. Regents and Webster University is now at a great loss. All my best, Cornelius J. George II (Neil), MBA class of 1989.

I distinctly recall the day when I had arranged for Stuart Sherman (https://www.imcba.com/) to give a Guest Lecture about Artificial Intelligence and I invited Professor Cooper to meet Stuart and to also attend the lecture. To my complete surprise the reply from Aldwyn said that he had studied Artificial Intelligence at Stanford in the 1970s and that he was very much looking forward to meeting Stuart to discuss AI and Ethics. I remember being surprised at Aldwyn's background in AI (especially from the 1970s) and it reminded me, most strongly, to never judge a book by its cover.
