Hunt’n, fish’n & shoot’n with Pete and Charlie at The Cottage around 1985, the Gillespie family retreat near Dundee. Many great holidays and memories from the infamous place.
Dartmouth 2011, Peter all dressed up and ready to go, no not in canoes in the rib out of shot. This day was so memorable we went from Dartmouth to Salcombe in the rib, on the return journey there was thick fog, the GPS system broke we were quite long way out and could see nothing. Fortunately my brother had his iPad which we used to navigate along coast. It was all going well until we got to close to a Navy Destroyer that sounded it fog horns and Pete leaving the seat.
Nov. 2016 - In Amazon rainforest. One of Tigs best holiday destinations. He enjoyed meeting local people, trekking in the rainforest and photographing wildlife.
Tigs with his nieces Sarah and Rachel and Sarah’s band mates at the 2012 Olympics
July 2018 - Tigs desperately seeking shelter from the rain in Tobago rainforest.

A much earlier favourite of the two of us, when I had hair and Tigs was sporting a dodgy moustache and goggles. We were out for a walk to play Pooh Sticks at the original bridge near Upper Hartfield.
The Cottage must have been one of Tigs' favourite places in the whole world. So many memories with family and friends over the best part of 40 years. We spent many hours 'playing' with cameras and sharing tips.
Uncle Tigs and I on the dive boat in Coron, Philippines. I remember how excited and happy he was.
June 2017 - Pete handing out a reward to a member of staff. I was appointed PR photographer by Pete - obviously his photography masterclass has been wasted on me :)
And here he is again....dressed up as Fu Manchu this time.......just a profile shot of his head but well recognisable, along with his friend & colleague Chris Burgess and of course his wife Merci having fun....this is how we will remember you
Its typical that the only pictures I have of Peter are of him having fun with his friends and colleagues. This one is from a Dragon Boat racing event at Bewl Water in Kent in 2005
Checking on ‘the cottage’, sadly in a sorry state. It was about at this spot 30 years previously that a camouflaged soldier appeared from the ditch on the right. Pete leapt in the air, let out a squeal and stuck his hands up.
August 2019, Scotland trip to meet with Pete’s brothers and Ronnie for the weekend. A day’s sea fishing for those hardy enough. Wonderful memories.
Pedro y Simon disfrutando de una cerveza muy grande en Barcelona, July 2004
At the 1994 Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City. Peter and Simon were used to overtopping the local Filipinos by some margin, but were somewhat humbled by this member of the local basketball team!!
Peter with his brother Simon, wife Merci and various Filipino family and friends at the Dinagyang Festival, Iloilo City in 1994. Looking very convincing as a Dinagyang warrior!!
