Paul Victor Astley Drane

April 4, 1930 - December 21, 2020

Paul was a much-loved husband, father and grandfather. He had a successful career as a pharmacist and enjoyed stamp-collecting and classical music. Although he played many sports as a young man, tennis is where he found his true passion, playing at club level, in the Vets Championships and then for Great Britain in the World Vets Championships. He also served faithfully on the Veterans Lawn Tennis Association Committee. Paul was known for his gentle and friendly demeanor and will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.

I generally don’t think another man could compete with his victories in Basketball tennis and bowls xxx
