I didn't know Paul well, but I did have one encounter with him about a year and a half ago that showed his kind heart. I was chasing after a ball on the court, I slipped on the gutter grate and had a really bad fall. Paul saw this from more than a court away and ran to my rescue, bandaged and iced my knee. He had a smile every time I saw him and brought a warmth to PPTC that will be sorely missed.
