What can I say about Patsy........ I remember her starting at the RAC she was a blonde haired, very stylish 'Pocket Rocket', she started in the Control Centre, at the time I worked in the Command Centre as a radio operator, and believe me she had no trouble coming across to let me know that she was not happy if we were keeping 'her' customers waiting... She then moved into the Audi Centre and when we put together the Audi Dedicated Service she was at the forefront of this, making sure we knew how important this was not only to Audi but the customers at the roadside, she worked tirelessly to make this a success, could always be relied upon and gave 100% on every shift she worked. She gave me over the time we worked together nothing but support and more importantly laughter. If Patsy was on duty your life was easier because she did exactly what it said on the tin... customer service. My memory of her is seeing her standing at her desk taking to her customers assuring them that we had everything under control and as Nic says doing her exercises at the same time, looking glam of course. I also remember her winning the Customer Service Award and the shock on her face that she had won this for doing her job. She epitomised the RAC strap line ' Always There' because she was.... for colleagues, customers and the RAC - she was one of life's troopers and everyone who worked with her will tell you the same. Most people say ........ Oh thanks your a star............ she actually was..

Forever in my heart lovely lady
Oh Patsy. You helped mould me into the breakdown worker I am today - no doubt about that. Our time together in Audi is always remembered in a fond way - those really were the days!!! Last time I saw you, our paths crossed as you were heading into work and I was coming home off nights and I spotted you in the BP garage looking bemused at your tyres! We hugged, I dutifully put some air in your tyres to help you on your way, we briefly put the world to rights and off you went. I really wish I’d hugged you just that bit tighter now. You’ll always be fondly remembered Patsy. Love from Katie xxx
If you were ever lucky enough to be in the company of or in conversation with Patsy Slater then you were truly blessed and honoured to have such a glamorous amazing woman enter into your life and like many other she has left a special stamp in my heart for the Wonder Woman that she was. She would always find the time for a chat, a smile, a ‘don’t let em get you down kid’ or a ‘keep smiling’ and would always brighten your day with the magic that she possessed along with the laughter she created. The world and most of the RAC lost a rare and precious treasure recently but I know he only takes the very best and you truly were one of a kind and will forever be in our hearts. You took a little piece of mine with you today Patsy but for the memories, talks and laughs and simply for being you, you can have it. Xxx thank you for being one special lady that I was lucky enough to have in my lifetime and for giving me strength when I felt I had none, laughter when my heart needed lifting and simply for being the loveable and only Patsy Slater xxx
Patsy Slater, the one and only Patsy Slater. It was an absolute pleasure to be classed as one of her 'Audi boys' right from the beginning in 2002. A warm, loving and mischievous character who would always have time to make the effort to say hello. One of the many memories of Pats would be pulling into Bescot, driving by the side entrance to see her beaming as one of her 'boys' had come to see her. Another was the 'It's a Knockout' at Warwick... seeing her on the inflatables was unforgettable. So many parties, so many memories of a truly wonderful person who had customer service off to a Tee. God Bless ya Patsy, Fly with the Angels and I raise a Strongbow in your honour. Chris 7005, XXXXXX
Coming into work on her day off to wish Laura the best before becoming a mommy. ❤️
What can I say about Patsy. I have known Patsy for over 20 years, she always stopped to speak to you. I remember when somebody ran into her car, she was so incensed, I couldn’t help but laugh at the look on her face and the language, omg, she was ready to hunt the person down. Patsy was down to earth and if she had something to say you had to listen or else. We had many a conversation in the shelter at work putting the world to rights, her last sentence was always don’t let the buggers get you down (she used a different word to buggers). Patsy, heaven has gained another angel.
Where do i start? I have worked with Patsy closely since i began my career at RAC. She stood out from the day i started. She was always so helpful, endearing and so so kind. I am lucky and feel extremely privileged to have had the relationship i have with someone like her. One of my fondest memories was Patsy having "the chat" with me just before i got married. She sat down with me and made sure i was 100% happy, and gave me such a lovely embrace once we had spoken. I have a lovely photo of her at my wedding, with me kissing her on the cheek as i walked back down the aisle, having just said " I Do"! She visited me at home when i had given birth to my babies, sent me gorgeous flowers and a lovely note when she learnt that my dad had passed away. She was a beautiful soul both inside and out. The time we have laughed til we have cried, when at work. There really is no way anyone could understand the bond we all had on VW/Audi, unless you worked there. It really was so special. I loved hearing her stories of how she'd got home and Eddie had knocked another wall down, or how Jackey and Isabelle had slept over at hers for the night and the things she had got up to with them. I will treasure our memories together until eternity. A little bit of me has died too Pats... until we meet again my precious xxx

Beautiful happy lady, all the photos I have she's got a huge smile, totally matched the personality. She was caring, considerate but woe betide anyone interfering with her jobs or not delivering the customer service, when my marriage failed she listened and didn't judge, she knew the right words. She will leave a Patsy void. She was loved by all. X
