Patrick and I both joined Essex Uni in 2006, I was a first year student and he was this amazingly cool PhD guy coming from Cornell University to teach us Economics. His American accent captured us from the very first lecture as being serious about the science but also helping us newbies understand various economic theories and equations in a fun way during our classrooms together. It’s now been 11 years since my graduation in 2009 but thanks to Patrick, hundreds of students like myself are better, funnier, cooler people. Even today Patrick is giving us another lesson, not about economics this time but about our lifes instead.
My Sincere condolences to Patrick’s family, may they live long to always remember him.
Rest in Peace my dear Professor Patrick
