My deepest condolences go out to his friends, family and loved ones. During the second and final year of my degree, I got heavily involved in EssexLab volunteering and went on to apply for an internship. There I got the pleasure to meet Patrick twice. He seemed very kind and nice the times I did meet him. May he rest in peace
