Olayinka Titus Ajilore

Dad was and still in good memory, a strong, intelligent, dedicated and honest family man. He sacrificed his years doing good for his family, without wanting or expecting anything in return. He set an example for others, through his integrity and loyalty to God and Mum. There wasn’t anything dad wouldn’t do to make our life better. His joyful, positive spirit was remarkable, along with his acceptance of everyone he knew. He was a very dedicated leader, and gave his all in everything he set his heart to do. We were always taken care of very well by him, and we always felt so proud of him, for who he is. Now, he is in the afterlife, we still feel so proud of him, and we marvel about all he was and all he did. Our love for Dad remain strong as the days goes by. He’s still our hero!!............... Dear Ajilore, rest in peace . You work hard to enjoy life but death cheated you .You are a great guy, honest, God fearing and respectful. God knows why you left this world so soon. . Well.. I know you are already with lord. But for those of us tthat is still living Life is a mistery, one cannot tell what will happen the next minute. Each passing day, some people are celebrating while others are mourning. And daily, we hear songs of victory and joy for new births and also hear songs of sorrows and cry for the dead.Like the late Emir of Sokoto(Macido)will say while he was alive, FEAR GOD! Little wonder the Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. Wisdom is the correct application of the word of God. There is happiness and joy, the day a man is born, and sorrows and tears the day he dies. But what happens in between the day of birth and day of death determines what will happen in the afterwards, which the Bible call the day of judgement. We have time to time listen to great sermons from the clerics, but none has the equivalent of the sermon of death. When a man or woman close to you passes on, you will feel/witness the emptiness that characterise our existentialism. The thoughts that prods your mind when you think that some day, the day will go black for you, your heart will stop beating, your lungs will stop taking in air and your velvet skin will be buried inside the ground. Then you know that the sermon of death has greater impact.Though death does not speak, but its words are voluminous. So what do I do, you may ask. Fear God, do His will, stay away from what God does not like, do good to all men. This is so that if your day comes(which must come someday), you will appear before our God almighty clean! A word is enough for the wise!!
