I had flown in from Minneapolis to help with a Cargill office move. I was taking Spanish classes and I was doing ok until I went to a restaurant with Norma and Juan Carlos. It was a great restaurant and we were enjoying a drink, when it came time to order our meal. Juan and Norma ordered their meals and then it was my turn. I thought I was ordering Sliced beef with rice and beans. I should have known something was wrong when Juan almost spit out his drink. The waiter looked at me like I was crazy and he was right. Norma started to explain what I had just ordered. She started saying that I ordered Bull reproductive organ. But I did not understand until she started moving her hands up and down like she was weighing avocados. I finally realized what I had ordered... Criadillas. At this point Juan Carlos and the rest of the restaurant were laughing hysterically. Norma and I were crying we were laughing so hard. I had such a great time with her and Juan, I came back a second time.
