Linda was ever Faithful to her family and friends, many lifelong, she held a special place in her heart for all children, young and old. As her husband, when we first met I knew that this woman had a special attraction that would lead any child to her; they just somehow knew that she cared, especially if they were hurting or lost. Posted for Enrique Vidal My dear friend Hal, and family members of Linda: Along with our deepest condolences from Debi and I, I would like to express and remanence the great memories that are imbedded in my mind of knowing your beautiful wife. Our friendship began in high school. Being the kindly, worm hearted person that she was, it was easy not ignore her as a potential good friend. My English at that time was very limited since I was new in this remarkable country. Nonetheless it didn’t bother Linda when I spoke the wrong words. I thought that I had an artistic talent which Linda made me recognize, I gained confidence for myself and I felt that she was my promoter. Art was our favorite Class and enjoyed doing art projects together! We once entered an art contest, and won first and second place. Our names were printed od the local paper and a celebrity at that time; James Whitmore awarded the prizes. We were buddies in high school, she was one of my reasons why I loved high school. I hope that you can forgive me Hal, but I had a crush on her. It was all very innocent though, and it didn’t go any further that, just being good friends. I thought that she had the prettiest piercing blue eyes too! I was pleased to reconnect after 35 years and happy that she had a great hubby that she deserved. My wife was also happy to meet her and become such good friends! She was a God-fearing person and spoke frequently about God. Jesus said “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted!” Yes, comforted with the hope that is in us. Next time we see her it will be a time to rejoice and our friendship will be eternal! God bless you Hal, you and the rest of Linda’s family. Enrique & Debi.

Linda was one of my big sisters. She use to like to style my hair for me and feed me popsicles when I didn't feel good. One of the most vivid memories is when I was about 14 years old and she took me and my girlfriend to go spend the night with her. On our way she took us cruising on Whittier Blvd. and stopped to see her boyfriend. When we got out of the car the police pulled up and arrested me and my friend for curfew. Poor Linda begged and pleaded that she was 18 and would take us straight home. They handcuffed us and took us to jail!!!!!! I teased her all the time that it was her fault that I had a record!! She was a very caring sister and I always knew she loved me.

My Mom went through different struggles in her life but even as a teenager I could see the true happiness Hal brought into her life! It was something I hadn’t seen before! She was like a kid again! As a teenager I did think it was gross that I could see them in the glass reflection making out but as an adult I’m happy that she had 30 years of true love! She also loved being a Grandma and to be able to share all those moments and memories with Hal really make me happy! I’m heartbroken that we can’t all make more! I know she would have done anything to watch the boys in every stage of their lives but now she can! Our forever guardian angel. ♥️
