Paul's funeral will take place at St. Paul's Church in Armitage Bridge, Huddersfield at 2pm on Friday 15th September. Paul Wilson, much loved husband of Jane, cherished Dad to Carla and Danielle and doting Grandad to Jack. Dearly loved son of Jean and the late Jack. Much loved brother and friend to many. Paul was well known amongst his friends and family for his zest for life, infectious laugh and sense of humour and his love for all animals. Paul had a heart of gold and was a kind natured, caring man who would do anything for anyone. He devoted his life to making happy memories with his wife, girls and grandson. A huge hole will be left in the lives of so many and he will be dearly missed. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Paul will know and understand his love and care for all animals. Therefore we feel it fitting that in lieu of flowers if you wish to make a donation in Paul's memory the funds will be shared between Meltham Wildlife Rescue and Good Life Dog Rescue (Leeds) which would be gratefully received. I have so many fond memories with Paul, some of which I dare not mention! One of my most favourite memories with my uncle however, would have to be staying up until the early hours of the morning watching the 2010 World Cup final. Throughout the night, Paul ensured he and I stood no chance in figuring out what the final result finished up at, with us watching it later on. He managed this through a number of ways, for example: turning the radio down when he ran us to Dixons for ice creams, Parking away from any pubs showing the game, insisting we stayed off social media and spoke to virtually no one who could slip up the score. As we eventually started watching the game, we somehow got on the topic of animals, which then resulted into he and I heading out shortly after 12pm, with a torch scouting for wandering foxes in the darkness. Paul would shine the torch and would then point out the two glowing eyes staring back towards us, whispering “that’ll be a fox!” Following our late night exploration, Paul would later pause the game for a midnight cheeky snack, where he made us this creamy chicken which remains one of the best things I’ve ever eaten!! We eventually ended up finishing the game at around 4 in the morning, after the match of course went to extra time. Despite the fact it took us almost a third of a day to fully watch the match, it will go down as one of my favourite games/nights ever. I will forever cherish the times we spent together which predominately resulted into us all being in stitches laughing at you, like when you somehow rallied what felt like hundreds of rabbits out of their dwellings by simply shouting “come out likkle wabbits” as we walked Toby, Sasha and Ruby around castle hill. Thank you for everything Paul, you really were the best uncle I could have ever asked for! Till we meet again buddy ❤️

We met for the first time in 2017 when he visited South Africa. He had come to conduct audits. So much knowledge in one man and so much zeal for life. He was embraced by all who met him during his visit. He shared many stories about his career and motivated me to learn as much as I can here at J&J. During the trip as we were visiting different locations I became sick with food poisoning. Paul looked after me. He even exchanged his Business Class seat with me so I could be looked after and be served good food. That was my very first experience in business class and I was so impressed that by the time we reached our destination I was feeling much better. Must have been the nice food they serve there. At another province in Kwa- Zulu Natal, we went to a party we were not invited to and enjoyed their food. This is the picture from the party with Paul enjoying their free beer :). He loved his family and always spoke of his girls ( loving wife and daughters). He was also very excited to have a grandchild. Oh Paul, you are going to be missed a lot. We have not lost a colleague but a dear friend who always showed love to his friends. To the family, thank you for sharing Paul with the world. He touched many lives and his loving soul will live on in each of us. May you find strength and comfort in knowing he loved you and is now at peace. RIP Paul. From Nomonde ( Olivier's Team)

When he sent me e-mails, he always wrote my name in capital letters "ISA". I asked him once why he did that, he said it was the acronym for something in England and was written in capital letters by default, and he had decided to leave it like that. This is a stupid thing, but everytime I received an email by him, calling me "ISA", put a smile on my face. I am the one at his left, 5 years ago. Office audit, Prague. Rest in peace, big big hug to his family.

Today was an important day for JJ, a new era is coming, and I thought of all the good people, friends and almost family members I have met along the years thanks to this Company. And Paul came to my mind, as being one of "this" type of people that makes a difference, that was in your mind when looking for support or good advice, or fun or knowledge. I will miss our connection, in personal and professional paths. I like to think that, somehow, he will still support, as his legacy continues among us, and a smile is in my face when remembering our good moments. Sometimes we were just a couple of goofies! This pic is from our trip to Prague, for an office audit, having dinner at night, just enjoying good food and sharing nice moments. He was there to learn from the team. The truth is that the team learnt a lot from him.

Dear Paul, we met back in 2005 when EDO was just a project. You played a key role for the establishment of our Courcelles DC. We have been working closely together on this for more than 4 years. We spent countless hours, days, nights in this DC! BUT What a success!!!! I found couple of pictures from October 2007 when the team received the 2007 Supply Chain European Project of the year!!! At that time, we had more recognition from outside of JnJ than within JnJ :D "C'est la vie"!! We were all proud that night. I used to cherish those photos for the accomplishment them represented. Now I cherished them because you are on them. I feel blessed meeting you. How many conversations we had!! You had your opinions, I had mine.. but I always knew your heart was at the right place. Miss you... really miss you.

I met Paul through work. We spent many good and long days traveling together, talking and communicating about work and our personal lives. It was very apparent that Paul loved his family, his dogs and his food. We shared many good meals and hoisted a few beers. Paul was always positive and looked for the good in people. A very smart and hard working man. He will be missed by many. The only picture I have of Paul is appropriate – proud grandfather. The only other pictures we traded were of our dogs, which probably surprises no one. Rest easy my friend.

Paul, you always did everything you could to make sure your family live the best life they can, you would do absolutely anything to get a laugh out of everyone and always had me laughing like a little girl, Going for a night out with you always ended in some hilarious memories. Dear Dad, The pain I feel in my heart when I am writing this as I never believed this time would ever come. I am reluctant to accept this and feel you will just walk through the door at any moment ❤️ You have given me so many opportunities throughout my life. I have been lucky enough to travel and explore the world with you ✈️ Who would have thought growing up and moving away I would grow even closer to you. We began to share more interests and the want to succeed in life. Something as simple as sharing a day at the races with you will always be cherished in my heart. It was honestly one of the happiest and best days of my life because it was something we all shared and enjoyed together. Sitting in the garden and really appreciating the world around me is something I will continue to do because you said it isn't done enough and that is something we all have to remember ❣️ You battled this cruel, unfair illness so strongly with a smile along the way to protect us all. I feel honored I got to care and be with you until the end just like you did with me when I came into this world. It has been so warming to see how many people truly love you and how many people know just how caring and funny you are. I will continue to succeed and always do my best just as you have taught me. Dad where do I begin? There are no words that can come close to describing how much I loved you. I am so grateful for all the happy memories you’ve left me to cherish and I am taking great comfort reminiscing over all the happy times we shared together. You had such a zest for life and I just wish with all my heart that the time we had could have lasted so much longer, though I know just how hard you bravely and courageously fought with your every fibre to try and make that happen. You were my biggest idol and I aspired to be like you. You always had the right answers and were my guiding light. I would not be who I am today had it not been for your guidance, for this I will be eternally thankful. I can still hear your infectious laugh and the visualise your bright smile that lit up the room. You were the sweetest, kindest, caring and most generous man I’ve ever been graced to know. You had so much love to give and would do anything to make us happy. I feel so privileged that I was blessed with you as my Dad.
