Pamela Jones was a caring individual who lived a fulfilling life. She had a special place in her heart for cats, was an avid gardener, and spent many hours tending to her flowers and plants. She was a stalwart in her family and a dedicated family matriarch.
Pamela worked for the Communications Workers of America (CWA) for 41 years. After retiring from CWA in 2010, Pamela devoted her time to her family and friends. She also volunteered at the DC C.A.R.E. Clinic, helping those needing medical care. Pamela was a passionate advocate for local water resources, the Chesapeake Bay, and worked tirelessly to promote environmental conservation efforts in her community.
Pamela's passing is a great loss to those who knew her. She will be remembered for her kind and compassionate nature, dedication to her family and friends, her causes, and her love for gardening and cats. We honor her life at this moment.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Pam moved to Washington, DC, with her husband and subsequently resided in Riverdale Park, Maryland. Pam leaves behind a daughter, a son, one stepson, several grandchildren, two sisters, and several more family and friends.
Pamela Jones will be deeply missed.
