Omotayo Osunkiyesi, born on October 5th, 1960, was a man of unwavering faith and dedication to spreading the gospel of Christ. Throughout his life, he exemplified kindness, discipline, and a fighting spirit that left a profound impact on all who knew him. On February 4th, 2024, he peacefully departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and service.
Omotayo's journey began in Lagos, Nigeria, where he pursued his education with zeal. After obtaining his BSc in Chemistry and MSc in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Lagos and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria respectively, he embarked on a different path guided by his deep-rooted faith.
Driven by his love for God and a desire to serve, Omotayo dedicated his life to preaching the gospel and nurturing others in their spiritual journey. He spent significant time in rural areas, leading a parish in the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, where he devoted himself to "feeding the sheep" and guiding individuals towards a deeper understanding of their faith.
Beyond his role in the church, Omotayo was a loving husband to his wife Oluwatosin Omolara Osunkiyesi and a devoted father to his two children Temitayo Osunkiyesi and Tanitolorun Osunkiyesi. He instilled values of kindness, discipline, and resilience in his children, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
His big heart and willingness to help those in need endeared him to his community, where he was known for his generosity and compassionate spirit.
Although Omotayo has departed this world, his legacy continues to inspire others. His teachings and values remain ingrained in the lives of those he touched, serving as a guiding light in times of struggle and a reminder of the power of faith and love.
