Bikram Singh was an Armoured core officer admired for his unwavering integrity and his creative, solution-oriented mind. Courageous in both thought and action, he never hesitated to take risks, try new ideas, or step forward to embrace new opportunities both while he was in the Army and as the founder of Avantika Electronics.
His ancestors came from Taran Taaran and Bikram spent a large part of his childhood with his parents and siblings in Amravati and Delhi. His sister fondly remembers leaning on his support over the many decades they have been together and his love for his Java bike and speed.
He had a deep affection for family, friends, and the joy of togetherness. Celebrations came alive around him, and he took special pleasure in bringing everyone together, always ready to organise, host, and ensure that celebrations were filled with laughter and warmth. Those who knew him remember his infectious positivity, generosity of spirit, and energy. Bikram loved to read and to discuss everything from religion to politics to sports.
A creative person he always a found an interesting and on the go solution as an entrepreneur. A natural artist he is remembered for his oil paintings on tiles. He made packing gifts an art and always found an interesting way to pack.
A passionate cook, Bikram loved experimenting in the kitchen. His homemade achaars and curries became family legends, made with love and remembered by all who tasted them. They remain a part of the core memories of his nieces and nephews. A love for sweets be it kheer or badam milk is a legacy he has passed on to his children.
He found great happiness in travel, exploring new places, and seeking adventure throughout his life, always curious and open to the world around him.
Above all, Bikram was a deeply loving husband, father and doting grandfather. Though he will be forever missed, his love, values, and joyful spirit live on in the hearts of his wife, children and grandchildren—Deepika, Amrita, Vineet, Megha, Karan, Tahira, and Udaiveer.
