Truly heartbreaking news that hit me and many of the current Lifestyle team for 6. I'd like to pass on my condolences and best wishes to Kevan's family and hope they can get some small pleasure from reading about the impact he made on mine and many others' lives at this horrible time. Whilst I only worked with Kevan for 2 years in his role leading the Lifestyle team I learnt a great deal......first and foremost the need to turn up on time to meetings! As a fellow early morning office arrival (and similarly skeptical by nature!) Kevan and I shared many a moan about football, clients, Kantar First or the traffic, building up a rapport over time. I also got to grips with his searing honesty; notably when having bought my first brand new car ever (a not inconsiderable sum of money for a tight Northerner), Kevan was quick to point out that i'd made the worst choice of payment approaches to said new car which had already cost me 1/3 of its purchase price....an expensive but now understood mistake! I'll always remember that Kevan was one of the first to congratulate me on a promotion achieved after he'd already retired and left (not even sure how he knew) and he has been in touch several times off his onw back to pass on advice or enquire about the health of my family (despite him having moved onto bigger and better things in retired life). A huge presence that will be missed. Thanks for everything Kevan.
