National Girl Me Too Day is observed on April 7 each year. The day celebrates the strength and endurance of women of all ages and the progress that they have made together. Every woman can be a source of inspiration. The women in our lives inspire us to be better and overcome our struggles. National Girl Me Too Day strives to remove divisions among women and bring them together from all walks of life. The day also reminds women that they have all carried similar burdens and struggles, and that help is only a call away. By uplifting each other, the day helps to mend the past and allows for a better future for generations to come. Hana inspires me. I love the risks she took, the confidence she exerted, the love she has for others. Hana supported other women and worked as a mentor to support young women. Hana understood struggles and worked to support others to overcome their struggles and work towards systemic change for equity. Hana is a great example of girl me too. The picture is of Hana and I assume her classmates at Capella Graduate school for social justice school counselor. I love you Hana. I admire the way you supported others including women and worked to help others. I miss you and wish you were here with me so we could celebrate each other.
