I have really fond memories of our trip to Madrid in February 2014 with Gav's close university friends. It was such a great trip and would not have been the same without Gav. I will always remember our trip around Real Madrid's stadium (Santiago Bernabéu). Whilst I do not love football quite as much as Gav (I don't think many people could); Gav's enthusiasm and love of the game made it one of the most enjoyable tours I have done.
I am so happy I had the opportunity to get to know Gav so well and live with him in Cardiff during our fourth year. He is truely one of the nicest, most genuine and kindest people I have ever met met and I will always aspire to be more like him.
