Mrs. Caroline was born on April 24, 1947, into the family of the late Chief Edward Yagon. She grew up in a large family in Benin, being the second daughter. She studied Microbiology, where she met her late husband, Nathaniel Osagie. Upon completing her university education, she returned to Benin for NYSC. The union with her late husband produced six children.
Mrs. Caroline worked as a teacher in the then Bendel State. She proceeded to Lagos in 1978, where she rose to the level of Assistant Director before retiring at the age of 60. She was privileged to be the principal of Lagos Progressive School and Akitan Grammar School, Lagos.
Madam Caroline was a devoted Christian, mother, and God-fearing woman who spent most of her life in Christ Mission Solution Church, where she served as the matron of the children’s ministry. She was a philanthropist, sponsoring many children to complete their SSCE and university education. A grandmother and an industrious woman, she and her husband built a pharmaceutical firm in Lagos.
She passed away after a brief illness.
