Norman was my housemaster when I was at Epsom 82-88 , he definitely helped keep me on the straight and narrow! His love of all sports was infectious and it was because of Norman my love of competing in Athletics began and still keeps me going today.
We spent many times meeting and chatting at Athletic tracks over the last 15 years and competing within the Masters Athletics tournaments and those times I truly now cherish.
He really was an inspiration and cannot think of another teacher that has had such a lifelong positive effect , will be missed, my thoughts go out to Carole and daughters
