Our mother was larger than life. Her personality was fun, strong and very caring. She never lived for herself, most of her life was dedicated to others. She was so loved by all who came across her way. I always told her You are the best mother I ever had. Her life was complicated and adventurous, She lived through so much. From living in the middle of aristocracy to living in the jungle, What a life. Full of drama but too full of pure utter love for her kids and all the people who came into her life. She had a wonderful sense of humor and she was interested in technology, UFO's, future. She was so excited for all that was happening with AI and robots. She loved George and Claude our AI's. She told me many ties she was not scared of death as she believe in the after life but, she was very concern about those left behind. Alan was her reason to be in her last years and gave all of her self to their marriage and to their love.

She has always been in the background of my life through so many different phases & experiences that I find it difficult to summarize my memories of her. For five years, during my early 20's, I lived with mum in a flat in downtown Sao Paulo, Brazil. During this period, she taught me, by setting an example, that being rational, fair-minded, open, honest & trustworthy really does work. She has been my best friend & a constant companion. Over the last years, she would ring me every week & we would have long chats about all sorts of topics. She became in effect my audience. Even now, I feel as if in some of my thoughts, we are still having a conversation. Since her death, I feel strangely invigorated, even liberated. I feel as if in Death, Mum has become freed from suffering & worry - she no longer has a body in which to suffer or worry - nonexistence has it's advantages! I love Life, but I do think Death is a good idea. For me, Life is eternally rich. After Mum's death, Life continues unfailingly to be rich - the absence of Mum in the Universe is just a new flavor, somewhat wistful, with it's very own beauty. For me, the Sun is the eternal Mother Goddess - & Mum has become part of the Sun. Eric Phipps.

Charm and my father had a shared interest in various alternative beliefs and I used to enjoy talking about these with her. She was a very peaceful person and never one to use profanities or to become angry. She had a calming influence on my Dad and the many years that they spent together were happy and relaxed. Having met up with her just 2 weeks before her passing, it was really good to catch up with her and she was still the same person that I fondly knew every time we talked. She is greatly missed.

Charm adored her family, spirituality, animals, and musicals. When we last saw each other, we stared at the sea and she cried about the tough decisions she'd had to make in recent months. I know that to her, having her family close was the richest she ever felt. She was a firm friend and an intelligent woman who loved to posit theories about the universe. Even when I wasn't on board with all of them, she knew I loved to hear her speak all the same. Thanks for allowing me to know you Charm I feel endlessly lucky.

I first met Charm through a mutual friend and was immediately struck by her warmth, her zest for life, and her quiet strength as she supported her husband through the early stages of dementia. One moment that still makes me smile was her delight in off-world energies — she once spoke of attending a meeting where the organiser planned to use a blow-up green man to mark the café table. Charm showed great courage in the face of many challenges, and always made time for others. She was a true example to those who knew her.
