Engr. Charles Akhigbe holds a Bachelor in Mechanical and Production Engineering degree from Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Masters Degree in International Project management from Walden University U.S.A, an executive M.B.A in strategy and management from the Canadian Management Centre in Toronto, Canada.
He has attended several Oil and Gas industry training in Nigeria, U.S.A, Canada and UAE.
He had his doctoral study in business administration at Walden University, Baltimore, U.S.A.
His numerous industry training has enabled him to develop a multi-talented skill in various areas of industry, business and economic sectors.
Engr. Charles Akhigbe is the Managing Director / CEO of Atlantique Marine and Engineering Services Limited (AMES). He earlier worked as a pipeline hydro- test Engineer with Zakhem International Limited. He has also worked for various multi-national organizations such as Halliburton, Shell, Chevron and Seplat. After a successful working career in these organizations, he focused on building his organization currently involved in Logistics and Warehousing support to Oil / Gas and Real Sector Manufacturing Organizations across Nigeria. Other service lines are in the production of linepipes for oil/gas, civil/structural and agricultural purposes and coating, 3rd party integrated logistics, warehousing, Equipment Storage, Power Plant development & Management, Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects.
Engr. Dr.Charles Akhigbe is a Knight of St. John International (KSJI). He was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Past Section Chairman 2007/2008 and SPENC Conference, Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), the Project Management Institute (PMI) and of Rotary club International of Portharcourt gateway club.
In year 2010, Engr. Akhigbe conferred with the SPE-International African Region award for exemplary leadership and service. He had also received several SPE section-104 director service awards. He loved playing golf and athletics. He was current assistant Governor Zone 5 in Rotary .
