I first met Alan as a lecturer back in the mid-80s on revision courses - Moorgate Poly/Kensington Business School - when I was a wet behind the ears ICSA student studying via distance learning (Rapid Results College) and he was the epitome of what any good lecturer should aspire to be - enthusiastic, encouraging and honest - but most importantly he brought Company Law "alive".... which as any Chartered Secretary will know is a major achievement. Thanks Alan.
