Nick Spencer

October 15, 1958 - April 7, 2020

Our great friend and former colleague, Nick Spencer, has sadly passed away. Nick left BP at the end of March, and his death has come as a great shock to us all. We are truly sorry and cannot possibly comprehend the grief that Nick’s partner Eve, and his sons Richard and Robert, are feeling right now. We would like to share your memories, stories and anecdotes of Nick and his time at BP with his family. Nick was a much-loved colleague, and we appreciate your support to help his family through this extremely difficult time.

This is awful news. My sincere condolences to Nick's family. Nick and I were located near each other in the SJS offices. He always struck me as a thoroughly decent human being and a consummate professional. His calm style of leadership, coupled with a deep command of his subject, left an indelible impression on BP's refining world. Nick could only have left similar positive impressions wherever else he travelled. RIP, Nick.
