I really did enjoy your love and generosity to the full. All you knew was my nickname (Asa). Without even meeting me you loved me as your own, sending me gifts which I relished. How will I forget our unending gist? Each time I come to visit your daughter, my friend Zimmy, and you happen to be around, I always end up chatting with you because you are easy to talk with, especially with your rich-juicy gists that crack me up so hard.
When I learnt you were in the hospital, I just wanted to be by your side, but then I was assured you were doing great. Even when i saw you in the hospital, there was this glitter in your eyes when you told me you were OK and smiled. It made me so happy. You then learnt the next day was my birthday and you admonished me to 'Celebrate Everyday' while wishing me a happy birthday. I was looking forward to celebrating your birthday with you.
On my birthday I got the shocking news of your passing.. God knows how much I cried asking why today, why must it be this day. However, I have come to realize, that day was a perfect day for a saint to join her Heavenly Father. Zim is in capable hands. My family and I love and miss you much. God loves you more. Adieu!
