So sorry to hear of Neil’s passing. Our thoughts are with Jennifer and all the family for the sudden and tragic loss.
Neil was a good friend for 50 years. As player, Captain, Chairman and President he worked tirelessly organising and developing Pontefract RUFC to be the successful and financially sound club it is today.
Neil had a larger than life personality; his ‘presence’ filled a room and he made everyone feel welcome, usually with a beer in hand and with his infectious laughter.
Great memories. He will be sadly missed by all. I was proud to call him friend; confidante; room mate and best man.
