Even before the LNS....the summer parties for long weekends were fun
Thiagarajan annan you are such a kind-hearted person and a great role model for all abroad Nagarathars. An example is how you raised your three children with the Nagarathar culture in UK. I blessed to have a nice memory of your visit along with your family, to my Epsom home in 2015 ( before I left the UK). Your loss has created a void space in the UK Nagarthars community which cannot be filled.... May your soul rest and peace My deepest condolences to your family members.
Thiagu annan (and aiya), Missed sorely, you will be, Fatherly and grandfatherly figure you have been to many, Landing in this strange white land, but welcomed by a cheerful face, Loved by all, the young and the old, Not the same anymore, LNS meetings will be. May you rest in peace. Palani (Senthi), Nithya and Nikitha
Thiagannan has always made everyone feel like part of each and everyone’s family. He has been a father figure to all of us. Jovial, sportive, and act the age of the person he talks to, yet he was always ready to give advice on matters as a senior when he feels we need a direction. He has the quality of bringing people together and making it gel. He will be greatly missed by all of us. My deepest and heartfelt condolence to the family.
Thiagarajan Annan has always showered love on us and we look up to him as a father figure. He was simple, approachable and mingled with us irrespective of the age and background. A light-hearted person with a great sense of humour. May his soul rest in peace and may god give all the strength to the family at this time to cope with the loss. We really miss you Annan !! I had known Mr Thiagarajan for more than 15 years now, it was very interesting that my first conversation with him was through a telephone call, he called me, he said it was a courtesy call to welcome me in to the country and he had met my dad in India over a drink and he shared a lot of his wisdom of how to settle down in UK, for a man of his stature and seniority he was down to earth and very welcoming and very natural. Since then he has been one of my well wishers, I have wonderful memories of sitting down with him and discussing various matters and invariably they were pertaining to the community, he was a very social and well respected by everyone. I had been in constant touch with him in the past few years and his health has been up and down but he never ever brought that in to our conversation, he was always positive, when I asked him about doing a combined event by the two nagarathar sangams he was very welcoming the idea and was very positive, it is such a shame that he is not with us to see through that event. He has lived a wonderful life and he was much loved by everyone, my prayers and thoughts are with the family at this difficult time. May his soul rest in the lotus feat of the God Almighty !!
